Chapter President Modesto N. Gibas, PECE

 Engineer “Moody” currently works in STC as Technical Specialist. He already held different positions in the same company due to his wide expertise in both software and hardware arena. From being Telecom Design Engineer to software programmer, he also became a Saudinet system administrator and IT Support Engineer. He has a strong knowledge in programming and has been on the job as an Oracle DBA and developer. Right now he is administering XNG Granite system by Telecordia, Oracle Siebel CRM and other billing system. Back home, he has been a Biomedical Engineer in St. Lukes Hospital and had been an instructor in the University of the East. He was then a practicing Electronics Technician at La Consolacion College’s Audio-Visual Department. He also worked as a contractor in PLDT for in-building telephone facilities and have put up his own contracting company before going abroad. He was the chairman of the Philippine Professional Organizations year 2013, IECEP KSA CRC Chapter Governor year 2013 and year 2014. Member of COMSOFIL Riyadh, Filcom-IT, and Toastmaster International, and is very active in serving other Filipino communities.

Engr. Perry Camson has been in the engineering field for 14 years, previously working as a Manufacturing Engineer at TDK Philippines and presently working as a Bio-medical Engineer in Arabian Medical Company in Saudi Arabia, a contracting company that deals with the installation, testing and commissioning of medical equipments. He obtained his bachelors degree at the University of the East Caloocan City in 1996. Current Officer/Auditor of IECEP-KSA-CRC and review instructor for ECE-SPLBE (Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations).

 

VP For External Affairs: Jonathan Tiston, PECE

Engr. “Jonathan” is a professional engineer with 14+ years Solid Experience on Telecom Project and Large Scale Broadband Networks on service provider area, with exposure on project management and specialized on core and access networks. He is currently working as Network Consultant for Saudi Telecom projects for VDSL Broadband project utilizing Alcatel-Lucent and Huawei equipment. He graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa, Manila (BSECE) and a Professional Electronics Engineer (PECE). He was a former Secretary-General of IECEP-KSA-CRC and currently working as Treasurer of the organization.

 Engr. Yumul is a loyal husband and a father of 3. A natural born teacher possesses good leadership abilities and has a good command of the King’s language. A creative, articulate, self-motivated and dynamic person with great passion for excellence and perfection. Working in Telecom industry for more than 15 years.

 

 Secretary General: Ryan Paul Panilo, ECE

Ryan Paul Panilo “Rye” has been working in the Kingdom as a satellite communication engineer in one of key areas including operation and maintenance, site monitoring, troubleshooting, rapid deployment for mobile communications, VHF communications, and CISCO networks. He had completed his degree at Mapua Institute of Technology, Muralla street Intramuros Manila. A performance-driven and forward thinking professional. He is one of the reviewers for the Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations (SPLBE), former Board of Director (BOD), Secretary General, and currently the VP-education of IECEP-KSA-CRC, article contributor to IECEP-KSA-CRC website, a bowling enthusiast, and a God-fearing person.

 

Treasurer: Lester de Guzman, ECE

LESTEREngr Lester De Guzman is 5 years employed as Quantity Surveyor – MEP Section in Construction for High Rise and Low Rise projects. Current IECEP-KSA-CRC Treasurer and SPLBE Instructor.

 

 Auditor: Ian Geneta, ECE

IanEngr. Ian is a highly motivated Electronics Engineer with considerable experience augmented by agraduate-level education in Bachelor of Science in Engineering and refined by specialized industry-related environment. He began his engineering career as a Service Engineer in a well known company, a solution provider for integrated security system and promoted to Project Engineer and again to Department Head in the span of 1 year. In 2008, I join Pannesma and worked as a Communications Engineer in Royal Saudi Air Force. In 2011, I began teaching Cisco in a Cisco Networking Academy in Second Philippine International School. In March 2012, I join Atheeb Intergraph and work as a System and Network Engineer supporting the network of Ministry of Defence.

Banan”torits” is a product of University Of Saint Louis of Tuguegarao( Formerly Saint Louis College of Tuguguegarao) – graduated 5th Batch  BSECE on March 2001 and he passed the ECE Board Exam taken on November 2001.  He choose this profession because he always had a love for electronics, communication and how things work and this naturally lead him to become one of Electronics and Communication Engineer. He had been working as Electronics Service Engineer/QC in Globalflex Corporation – one of the top sales marketing and Quality Services company in the Philippines and also assigned as Electronics Engineer Supervisor in King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, KSA by his Contracting Company- IMAN Co. He is currently working as Network and Commissioning Engineer for low current devices and all Security Systems Technology Equipment in Alawll for Advanced Communication Solutions.He is also one of the SPLBE Reviewers for ECE and ECT(Electronics Technician).

Engr. “Jandz” has an upstanding work experience mainly on Radio Communications Facilities (Earth Station, Two-Way Radio, Microwave, & High-Powered Electronic Jamming System) since February 2003.He joined IECEP-KSA-CRC in 2010 to fulfil his advocacy in helping non-licensed Electronics practitioners in preparing for the board examination by devoting himself as a Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) Reviewer.In 2012, he led to start encouraging non-licensed Filipino Electronics Practitioners living in Central Region, Saudi Arabia to take the Electronics Technician (ECT) Board Examination.

Engr. Nelson Navarro has over 20 years of working experiences to propose starting from his active involvement in indent sales of test and measuring instruments at AVESCO Marketing Corp., his exposure to teaching mathematics, electronics and communications subject at the Technological University of the Phils – Taguig campus, and the knowledge gained through being involved in the field of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other security systems at the diplomatic security department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Arab Builders for Telecommunications & Security Services (ABTSS) in Riyadh City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, respectively.
