1st Inter-Color Basketball League

The first ever Inter-color Basketball league was kickoff last April 20, 2019, at 8:00 pm at the Al Sharj Hotel basketball courts. The 5 teams who will be joining the tournament were present during the opening ceremonies namely the Black Team (Resistors), the Red Team (Transistors), the Yellow Team (Capacitors), the Blue Team (Diodes) and guest Gold team (Fiber optics).

The simple opening ceremonies were graced by our Founding 2010, Governor Engr. Mario Balboa and 2016 Governor Engr. Noel Yumul. Our incumbent Governor Engr. Artemio Dy welcomed and thanked all the participants to the tournament. This was followed by Introduction of the teams and reading of tournament rules by sports chairman Engr. Dodjie Vibar. Later, Engr. Ferdinand Geron, the IECEP Jaguar coach led the oath of sportsmanship. The teams drew lots to determine the placement in the games. Game 1 was between the Blue team and Red team, while Game 2 was the Black team and the Gold team. Yellow team was bye and will play on the next playing date. The Muse of the Jaguars, Ms. Claire Anne Tiu was introduced and welcomed by everyone.

Engr. Mario Balboa gave his inspirational message and reminded everyone to play in the spirit of camaraderie and true friendship. The ceremonies ended with the closing remarks from Vice Governor External Nelson Navarro and the declaration of the games by Vice Governor Internal Leo Vincent Lao.
