Greetings To ALL!!!
May I take this opportunity to welcome all members, officers and ECE practitioners to the official website of IECEP-KSA-CRC, and to extend a further word of welcome to everyone visiting this website.
The birth of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Phils. Inc. Riyadh Central Region Chapter is certainly a moment that we should all savor and enjoy.
If you take a quick look around the site, I’m sure you will all agree that our Institute has come a long way in the last few months- from its conceptualization and formation early of this year.
It all started as a dream, IECEP-KSA-CRC envisioned the dream of establishing a world class PROFESSIONAL institution- here in the Kingdom; an organization that is founded by competent and professional engineers that share the same vision & mission of the institute that it represents;
It is a showcase of dedicated individuals engaged in the Kingdom’s various industries in telecommunications, electronics, information technology, biomedical, military and defense, automation and control, research and the academe.
An organization that would mold and guide future generations of enlightened minds in the Electronics and Communications discipline.
Having said all of that- let me give you a brief role of the INSTITUTE:
- Promote continuing professional development and competence among its members.
- Institutionalize professionalism and ethical practice among its members.
- Preserve/enhance the social and moral stature/prestige of the profession.
- Protect the rights and privileges of members in the practice of the profession.
- Promote the general well-being of its members.
- Provide the infrastructure and resources for academic and career development programs.
- Maintain unity among Electronics and Communications professionals through one Accredited Professional Organization.
- Increase membership and encourage the active participation of members in activities of the organization.
- Recognize outstanding academic and professional achievements and contributions to the profession.
- Formulate, update and recommend adoption of codes, laws, rules and regulations, programs and technical standards affecting the ECE profession.
- Validate complaints and assist affected parties in pursuing corrective measures against violations of laws, rules and regulations affecting public interest relative to the practice of the profession.
- Cooperate/coordinate with and assist government and non-government organizations in all matters relevant to the practice of the profession.
- Exercise and safeguard the right to nominate qualified candidates to the Board of Electronics & Communications Engineering from and among its active members.
- Initiate and/or participate in meaningful social, cultural and civic activities.
- Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with international organizations.
- Enhance public awareness about IECEP and the ECE profession, and disseminate latest technological and regulatory information regarding the professionFor 3 months now, IECEP-KSA-CRC has been very active and committed in providing various activities which certainly enhanced the professional growth and competency of ECE’s here in the Kingdom.One of the major activity which is currently being held is the SPLBE review of our fellow ECE’s who have not taken and passed the ECE Licensure Board Exam.IECEP-KSA-CRC is conducting the review classes at Al Taj Int’l School every Friday 8-5pm. Other activities which are lined up for the year are Technical Seminars, Continuing Professional Education, Sports Activities and Outreach Programs and so on.
In this regard, I wish to convey my sincerest appreciation and thank you to my fellow officers who have devoted time and effort making all this possible.
Likewise to our members, we thank you for your continued patronage and noble contributions in realizing the programs and objectives of the Institute.
We are looking forward to your unwavering support and cooperation for the general membership as we move along the path and on the journey of IECEP-KSA-CRC to be one of the best and successful organization here in the Kingdom.
In addition – we would like also to extend our gratitude and thank you to all who have encouraged and supported the group, making it possible for the dream to become a reality-
