Induction Ceremony 2010 & General Membership

A milestone was held last July 8, 2010 for the IECEP Central Region Chapter, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with its first Induction of Officers and General Membership that was held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh.

The event was well attended from the different professional organizations, local media, embassy officials, honored guests, friends, families, ECEs and allied practitioners.

IECEP President Engr.Mario Balboa, challenged the ECE community by quoting a famous phrase “Ask not what the Profession can do for you, but rather, ask yourself what can you do or contribute for the success of the Profession”.

The VP for External Affairs Engr. Sonny Acance welcomed the esteemed guest of honor which is no other than the Labor Attache’ of the POLO OWWA, Honorable Albert Valenciano, who graced the occasion with his wife. The IECEP officers and members took their oath of office and pledged to contribute to the fulfillment of the organization and its current projects.

Engr. Oscar Oliva, Treasurer expresses his warm gratitude in behalf of the officers and organizing committees for the successful number of membership and attendees during the induction. He introduced the various and present undertakings of the Chapter namely, the ECE licensure exams, Continuing Professional Development, Technical Seminars, Out-reach Programs; Sports and Recreation activities.

To complete the event, the officers and guests were entertained by local talents from the different Philippine schools with a song number and piano recital. Toastmaster Riyadh hosted the event.
